Successful regional paper seminars in Austria

VEGA recently held two regional paper seminars for customers and interested persons from the paper and cellulose industry: on March 3, 2009 in Bruck an der Mur and on March 4, 2009 in Linz, 40 participants from the areas of production, engineering as well as plant construction took up the invitation to attend.

After the welcoming and the short introduction to VEGA, the participants used the opportunity to get informed about the state-of-the-art in level, pressure and switching instrumentation as well as the latest technological developments. The follow-up workshop "Instrument adjustment" demonstrated the PLICSCOM module for universal on-site adjustment as well as the software PACTware for simple, convenient adjustment of sensors via PC.

The lecture "Communication and Parameter Adjustment" explained the integration of sensors into management systems and presented a comparison of different bus systems. The event was rounded off with a presentation of the simulation software for processes in the paper industry of the Papierzentrum Gernsbach.

The benefit to the participants: a day packed full of current information, practical demonstrations and exchanges of experiences among industry colleagues – and all this without having to travel very far.
