VEGAMIP 61

The microwave barrier VEGAMIP 61 is preferably used as a universal level switch for bulk solids. But the instrument also offers clear advantages for level detection of liquids or the detection of objects.

The microwave barrier, consisting of one VEGAMIP R61 transmitter and one or more VEGAMIP T61 receivers, generates a switching signal when signal damping occurs. VEGAMIP 61 can even detect a level right through a closed non-metallic vessel. With metallic vessels, the sensor can be mounted in a suitable port or in front of a window of plastic, glass or ceramic. A window also offers protection against mechanical loads or high temperatures. The microwave barrier can thus be completely decoupled from the process.
