Before undergoing burning in the rotary kiln, material from the blending bed together with aggregates is crushed to fne raw meal in large mills. For continuous production, reliable monitoring of the levels is indispensable both for the additives and the raw flour.
Continuous level measurement
VEGAFLEX 61 is the ideal solution for continuous measurement in aggregate silos up to approx. 10 m (33 ft) high. The guided microwave measuring principle (TDR) is not infuenced by product quality, dust generation or the shape of the material heap and always delivers reliable level information.
The contactlessly measuring sensor VEGAPULS 68 is deployed in the often gigantic raw meal silos. Even under conditions of extreme dust generation the sensor can reliably measure levels in silos up to 70 m (230 ft) high.
Overfll protection with VEGAVIB 62
VEGAVIB 62 provides additional protection against overflling in silos. Setup does not require a flling in the silo. Since it has practically no moving parts, VEGAVIB 62 is not subject to wear and tear. The fexible suspension cable avoids mechanical loads that can arise through product movement.
