Belt transfer station

Belt transfer

The transport of rough bulk materials within a production facility is usually carried out via conveyor belts. To achieve a steady throughput, transfer stations are integrated in the conveyor line. The incoming bulk solids are temporarily stored in a buffer silo.

Level monitoring in the transfer station with VEGAPULS 67 radar sensor

Level measurement in the belt transfer stations plays an important role in controlling the conveyor belt and the production process. During operation, the sensor must not be afected by the falling material. The narrow focusing of the VEGAPULS 67 radar sensor avoids interference from the instreaming bulk solids. Thanks to the radar measuring principle, the sensor delivers reliable measuring results even under conditions of extreme dust generation.

Flexible overfll protection VEGACAP 65

VEGACAP 65 is extremely robust and thus ideal for use in heavy bulk solids. The sensor delivers a reliable switching signal regardless of the nature of the rock. Its gravity weight of standard or high-grade steel resists the hardest blows and ensures a long service life.
